Everyone must be able to fight the ship, God Forbid. SO, we all go through the basic firefighter
training.
It's not hard and lots of fun.
The amazing moment for me, was beginning my day by standing
up and reciting the sailor's creed together. I have not done that since
Chaplain School. I teared up and felt the power of the words and the connection
with my fellow sailors.
I did not realize how much I missed this - - being a SAILOR – until now.
