There is an organization called the Association of Gulf Jewish Communities. I have been working with them, to see how I can support them while I am in the neighborhood. They asked if I would be in Dubai the second night of Chanukkah. I told them I could be. And that night, we got to watch something I could not imagine. Arab Jews and Muslims coming together to celebrate Chanukkah.
The hashtag #cousins_Meetup is deep and meaningful to me. My dream of living in a world where “Hinei Mah Tov U’Manayim Shevet Achim Gam Yachad” how great and pleasant it is when brothers sit together.
